The list isn’t meant to be a be-all end-all list of every possible thing that could be nominated. Some of these fandoms are very large and it would be time consuming for me to go and research every possible thing that exists when they might not be nominated. I opted for including ones that I have seen nominated fairly recently to give people an idea how I wanted to handle specific fandoms. This would be a very long post if I listed every possible subcategory for DC, Marvel, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Tolkien.
Star Wars If it’s not in the movie/series then nominate it separately. Knights of the Old Republic games should be nominated separately. Legacy comics should be nominated as Legacy comics. I’m open to seeing how participants want Legends and other extra media to be treated.

The movie with Paul McGann can be nominated as part of Doctor Who (1963). Books, audio plays, Curse of Fatal Death, Peter Cushing’ movie, etc should be nominated separately.
If a character appears in more than one part of the fandom, like Sarah Jane Smith, they are eligible for all the parts that they appeared in.
