Dark Souls is a series of three games; Gwyndolin appears in both DS1 and DS3, Solaire only appears in DS1, and the other nominated characters appear only in DS3.

I'm totally fine with splitting the characters up into Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 as long as Gwyndolin ends up in both sets somehow!
