Hi! I have a question about nominating characters from two different series with an overlapping character.

The Fate/ franchise is a very complicated, convoluted series. However, there are two recent anime that are the main thing I'm interested in that have a few but not very many fics, so I was interested in nominating a set of characters from both. While these two shows (their show-specific tags are 'Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (Anime 2014)' and 'Fate/Zero' respectively) are within the same continuity, the latter is a prequel to the former. The stories take place ten years apart, and the character overlap in most cases is more like continuity-nod than it is two different shows about the same set of characters. The "main player" casts are very different in terms of composition and dynamic, hence why I'm hoping that both can be nominated rather than lumping them all together. If allowed to nominate both in their separate categories, three of my four characters for each would be different.

But then, there is this character tag: Arturia Pendragon | Saber

She is one of the very few characters who plays a significant, primary role in both anime. (Some time-weirdness and magic are involved.) If it's possible, I'd like to see her in both categories (if you allow them to be separate) because the characters she would be nominated with would be completely different in that case. However, I know that a technical limitation on AO3 doesn't allow me to nominate her twice.

I did not know if this was something you didn't like the sound of, didn't want to deal with, or if there was anything you could say on the matter.

If you only want the whole Fate/ franchise nominated once instead, there are TWO options for that, I think: 'Fate/stay night & Related Fandoms' and 'Fate/stay night - All Media Types,' and I know that we generally hate "All Media Types" for exchanges.

I know this is a weird judgment call most people wouldn't ask you to make, but I just wanted to check.

Thank you!
