Nominations Reminders & Clarifications
Nominations remain open through September 8, 7:59 PM EDT/23:59 UTC. After that, there are a couple of days set aside for me to finish approvals and clean up.
Here is the nominations post.
A couple reminders and clarifications:
- Mixed &/ relationship tags will be rejected. (Ship: X/Y & Z, Ship: X/Y & A/B, etc.)
- Please avoid pipes except when it would be impossible to tell which character you mean without them. Pipes are when a character tag has two names, like this: "Third Trick or Treat Exchange Mod | Pumpkin King III". Since that character is most commonly called Pumpkin King, you would nominate as Pumpkin King III even if the canonical is piped.
- Nominations should be for ships and characters, not plots. There's some wiggle room in Original Work for setting up situations, like "Character Who Has Done X". But there are a few Original Work nominations along the lines of "X character learns ABC and does 123 actions" which won't be approved.
- You don't need to include the middle names for Harry Potter or Fire Emblem Three Houses characters. (or most other canons, but those are the ones I noticed today.)

(Anonymous) 2023-09-09 12:31 pm (UTC)(link)When approving my nomination for "Maxivermis Mind/Thaddeus Sivana (DCU New 52)" under DCU (Comics), you appear to have changed the disambiguation so that it's simply "Maxivermis Mind/Thaddeus Sivana (DCU Comics)"; I was trying to specify the timeline I ship them under in the disambiguation, so I was wondering if they could be switched back to (DCU New 52)?
