There are two ways you can make your noms approval go faster:
-Disambiguate for me so that I don't have to. This is especially helpful on things like anything connected to comics, Star Wars, Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire, anything with multiple versions, any RPF, characters with short, common names. If you can think of how it could show up in another fandom then disambiguating is helpful.
-Provide info if it is a rarer fandom especially if it doesn't have it's own wiki in English, a comprehensive wikipedia page, a good characters section on TVtropes, or a good characters list on imdb.

Unless you truly want all the movies (1979, 1988, 2005) specify in your nomination.

Final Fantasy VII
Cloud, Barret, Aerith, Vincent, and Tifa had to be rejected due to an AO3 issue with renaming. I have manually added them in. If you are nominating this characters under any other fandom make sure you disambiguate so AO3 doesn't auto reject them.

Rose Da Silva is only a movie character.  Would you prefer All Media Types?

For Chinese Mythology, Ch'ing-nü | Qing Nü is an (admittedly obscure) goddess of frost and snow. She's pretty much impossible to google, what with there being no agreed upon translation of her title (seriously - translators seem to pick one of dark, blue, green, grey or fortunate and one of maid, lady, girl, woman or goddess, and every single translator picks a different pair). But you can find references to her below:

Youth on Horseback is an AO3 issue not an exchange issue. I have no control over what category AO3 puts it under. The only way to fix it is for someone knowledgeable about the fandom to email AO3.

The Expanse (TV) is a Syfy TV series and space opera based off a series of books and short stories by James S. A. Corey. Season 1 was loosely based around the first book in the series, Leviathan Wakes. I am ok with crossovers with the books, since the mini-series gave us (admittedly) not much canon to work with. There are canonical differences, but I'm not much bothered by them. All of the canonical tags I have added (Amos Burton, Jim Holden, Alex Kamal, Naomi Nagata, Julie Mao) have no overlap with other fandoms. The only non-canonical tag, Chrisjen Avasarala, has not been used elsewhere. She is the Earth-based U.N. Deputy Undersecretary of Executive Administration, and plays an important, if largely off-screen, role in shaping the obstacles the other characters must overcome through the arc of the series.

Letterkenny (TV) is an original TV sitcom on CraveTV, featuring two friends (Wayne (Letterkenny), Daryl (Letterkenny)) in the fictitious, rural town of Letterkenny, Ontario, a town of "hicks, skids, hockey players and Christians" as the show puts it. Other reoccurring characters include Wayne's sister Katy (Letterkenny), her two hockey-playing boyfriends (Reilly (Letterkenny), Jonesy (Letterkenny)) and a group of meth-dealing techno ravers led by Stewart (Letterkenny) (played by the dude who played Samandriel in Supernatural). None of the characters have last names, and the fandom has been using ambiguous tags. I've adding the fandom to the names, but would appreciate help on how to make tagging easier for you?

Wow! I thought I was the only one who've nominated characters from The Expanse, the series. (My nominations are the whole crew from the Rocinante plus Shed and the Martian officer.)

Mod, do we need to disambiguate this canon too? I don't think there's any danger of the characters wandering under other canons.

Alice Isn't Dead in a podcast created earlier this year and ended sometime this summer. It is told in the POV of a truck driver who is searching for her wife who she originally thought was dead.

The Broken Earth series by N.K. Jemisin is a fantasy trilogy. The first book, The Fifth Season won the Hugo for best novel last month. The second novel, The Obelisk Gate came out around the same time.

There's a Wiki for The Fifth Season , but not for the Obelisk Gate. But since I only nominated characters from the first novel, maybe that's enough?

I just attempted to nominate characters from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and from its sequel series, Tsubasa World Chronicle; the nomination form auto-accepted the latter as a fandom, but by changing it into also being the former.

If there's a way to restore it to its own name, it would be appreciated. Offers/requests involving the two series could possibly get complicated otherwise.

I didn't try to edit or make any changes after the first time I submitted those, unfortunately(?), because I'd had something similar happen before with another fandom and trying to make any edits or changes made even more of a mess. So I left that one alone, figuring better safe than sorry.

It wouldn't have let you add anything either way. Since you now had duplicate fandoms on your nomination it wouldn't let you edit anything. I noticed the same thing happened to Chuck Tingle when I accepted Literary RPF.

So what would you have nominated in your remaining slots? If you get them to me within about a day I will edit them into the tagset.

I have no idea if this will be an issue or not but just in case:

Penny & Aggie is a webcomic that can be found in its entirety here. I nominated Future Penny and Future Aggie, who appear in the 20 2020 Pennies storyline where Current Penny has to make a decision that will wipe out some of her possible futures and is brought face to face with twenty of her potential selves. (I cannot come up with a way to say that any better, sorry.) I just wanted to clarify that they're not the same as the Penny and Aggie who appear in the rest of the comic.

I have a friend who nominated three characters in 動物戦隊ジュウオウジャー | Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger but only had one approved. (I nominated the other six and they were all approved.) She doesn't have a DW or LJ account and it looks like anon commenting is turned off so I'm leaving this for her:

"Memory Clone Sela" and "Memory Clone Tusk" are canon characters from a recent episode. They don't have official names, but are clones of Sela and Tusk (respectively) created from their memories, hence the names she used to nominate them.
