AO3 has a habit of taking the normal disambiguations of characters and then associating them with other fandoms. So in certain fandoms I don't even bother trying to find variations that haven't been miswrangled anymore. I do something different that refers to the fandom somehow, amuses me, or whose initials are the same as the fandom. Star Trek and Marvel fandoms are both particularly bad for this.
