I want to give a huge thank you to Shadow Lover and Zdenka for their help on the tagset. Without them it would not be in anywhere as close to a done state as it is.

Here is the tagset.  Other than our final questions all this needs is taking care of wanderers, associating a few unassociated characters, deleting duplicates, and other house keeping tasks.  If you see errors or you see a group that isn't a vague group of characters that aren't defined in canon please tell us.

Not the nominator, but the Bad Anons group is a distinct group of characters. Some aren't named on-screen, but are identifiably certain characters (antagonists) from classic video games.

They only appear in the group setting in the movie and don't have any plot outside the (brief) meetings, though. We don't know if the members we see are the only members, if the membership ever changes, etc.

I was hoping to request fic about the support group itself and not specific members within it, and definitely not specific members potentially doing other things. Obviously if it's not in it's not in, but that was my reasoning!

Not my nom, but The Mewlips are from 'The Adventures of Tom Bombadil', which is a poetry collection rather than the Silm book, but it is Tolkien's poetry and related to Middle Earth worldbuilding, so it might fall under the umbrella of the 'other histories' part of the Silm category?

Hello, I found what appear to be some duplicate tags.

Van Helsing (TV 2016) has both "Axel Miller" and "Axel Miller (Van Helsing TV )"

AO3 wrangles disambiguated tags to other fandoms. It takes more work to later fix a tag after it wanders than it does to change the tag when accepting it. To amuse myself I used ridiculious disambiguations for these fandoms that are prone to wandering. If it is so off the wall that it has never been used in the archive then there is no way that it could wander. Most of these share initials with the fandom, make a reference to the fandom, or otherwise amuse me. In this case "Super Vacation Ultra" has the initials SVU.

I nommed “Lost Boys” for Peter Pan, as the other anon said, in canon they all have names, but it’s a group that also changes over time with different boys coming and going before and after the canon events. I was leaning more to nom the later idea of a group rather than any specific Lost Boy.

Would “Original Lost Boy Character” be better?

"Ash Williams (Ash vs Evil Dead)" from the "Ash vs Evil Dead (TV)" category has wandered into the "Evil Dead (Movies)" category, which already has an Ash of its own in the form of "Ash Williams (ED M)". Poor Ash, he spends so much time fighting copies of himself in canon and now he has to do it in the tag set too. :D

Also, "Brandy Barr" appears to have wandered between those categories as well. She only appeared in the TV series, not the movies.

Both are fixed. The funny thing is that "Ash Williams (Ash vs Evil Dead)" isn't associated with "Ash vs Evil Dead (TV)" on AO3's end. That was a manual association.

I just noticed that Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (TV) has two Vinculus characters. Vinculi. There is both 'Vinculus (JS&MN TV)' and 'Vinculus (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell)'.

Also, I don't suppose it matters but just in case it does, for the Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke characters under Books and Literature, some of the disambiguation has Mr. Norrell (with a full stop) and some don't.

I didn't nominate Lírien but I think that is indeed the fanon name for the girl that plays the harp in Rivendell. I believe last year she was nominated as Rivendell Harp Girl.

I'm not the nominator, but it probably makes the most sense to move those X-Men nominations to Marvel 616, as I don't think this combination of characters all exist in any other continuity. Madelyne Pryor and Illyana Rasputin are already in, though (the latter as Illyana Rasputina).

My apologies if this isn't the right place to bring this up, but I've noticed that when I try to enter a sign-up request for Inception (2010), the characters Dom Cobb (Inception) and Mal Cobb (Inception) don't show up as options to select even though it shows that they're included in the tagset. This isn't a critical issue for me, but I wanted to bring it up in case there's some sort of glitch you should be aware of. Thanks!

That is a known AO3 bug. The sign-up form will accept them if you copy and paste them from the tagset.
