I'm bored. Nominations are open now. They will close at the normal time.

You can nominate eight fandoms and eight characters from each. Nominations will be open until Tuesday September 8, 23:59 Zulu time.

All traditional fandoms are eligible. RPF has a few special rules that you can read about in the faq. Fanworks as fandoms will be determined on a case by case basis.

Comment on this post about your thoughts on allowing videos and podfics. Please include if you would request or offer either.

I don't know what's best. Like I said, I'm probably the only one playing who prefers and would choose the 2003 anime, so I don't know if just one person using that category would skew matchups or anything. (That said, I really don't like and can't write the other canons.) So I'll leave that up to your judgment.

(Oddly, AO3 also claims a tag for one character is canon to the fandom, but not the 2003 anime specifically--even though she only appears there. I don't get it.)

Well if you only want the 2003 version then I will accept that version. Someone else can always nominate the manga or Brotherhood separately if they really want that version.

I'm able to nominate the fandom FMA - Brotherhood & Manga, but when I nominate characters for this fandom, I got an error message like this:

"Sorry! We couldn't save this tag set nomination because:

Someone else has already nominated the tag Edward Elric for this set but in fandom Fullmetal Alchemist (Anime 2003). (All nominations have to be unique for the approval process to work.) Try making your nomination more specific, for instance tacking on (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood & Manga)."

I can get around this by typing something like "Edward Elric (manga)" but it breaks the common tag. I don't know how this will affect things for the approval process and matching. Mods, help?

Definitely want to make sure anyone who really wants the 2003 anime version of canon gets to nominate that separately.

Disambiguating makes it easier and faster for me to accept. In fact the thing slowing down nominations the most is that I have to manually disambiguate everything.
