Okay, so for shadow's endless curiosity I'm going to do this. I actually only tagged one work of mine for the challenge, because I thought it was silly to tag them all. Every single thing I wrote for the collection was challenging, though!
The one I tagged was "The Vaunted Halls Of Old" for the epic poem Aniara--was challenging because it was poetry and epic poetry at that. It took me quite a bit to even find a copy of the Poetic Edda because I couldn't get the rhyme scheme out of my head and wanted to compare the two if at all possible. Well, spoiler alert: it fucking wasn't. It turned out the similarities were mostly in my mind, and perhaps in the subject matter (at least that's my entirely unprofessional opinion on both) I'm still not entirely sure if the rhyme scheme even matches up to the original Aniara poem. I tried, though! And at least the story made it through my editing :D
