Community Challenge: Battleship

Every year there is a community challenge. This year we will be playing Battleship, the entire community against me. I’ve linked to the Wikipedia article.

In the game you have a 10x10 grid. The rows are A-J the columns are 1-10. On that grid I have hidden a carrier (5 tiles), a battleship (4 tiles), a cruiser (4 tiles), a submarine (3 tiles), and a destroyer (2 tiles).

In the game you call out a square on a grid, such a A7 (row A, column 7). I will say hit or miss. The goal is to find and sink all of my ships.

It would be a pretty short game if the community just got to freely call out squares. Instead, the community has to complete a certain goal in order to call out a specific square. You need to get number of works specified by the criteria.

The community does not need to do all of them to win the challenge, they just need to sink my ships.

The assignment of task to tile will be revealed with assignments, but for planning purposes, here are all one hundred tasks.

The numbers were loosely inspired by how much each tag was used last year, if at all.

The link to Battleship on Wikipedia doesn't work and the "image version" table link also doesn't work!

Can you tell me what the image link is doing when you click the image version? I've tried it on multiple browsers, logged in, logged out, and incognito and the image link works for me.

I don't know why the link to wikipedia isn't working. The html looks correct to me when I go to edit html and the link itself is the correct one used there, but it isn't working right from the post itself. I will have to look into it further but I don't know why it is exhibiting that behavior at this time.

EDIT: So I deleted and retyped the link to wikipedia and it now appears to be working on my end.

Hello, Mod! New anonymous here! Imgr link indeed does not work! I've tried in three different browsers and it doesn't work! It only works on my iphone if you were wondering, but not on my laptop!

In the future, please put each square's coordinates with its theme.

Dawn was a false positive because of being tagged with characters with the name Dawn, I can't easily check them to see if they feature dawn until reveals. It has not been met as far as I can see.
