For those new to the exchange, every year I post a community challenge. This is a just for fun thing. I like to announce what it is before sign-ups start. This is purely for fun and is not required.

 Can the community get Bingo? 

Tag your works to make it easier for me to find. A single work can qualify for more than one square.


>20K wordcount – One gift with a word count great than 20,000
2 gifts/person – Each participant that gives a gift has two gifts
3 Ridiculous Disambiguation – Three works inspired by my unique disambiguations.  You don’t have to use the character or fandom that the disambiguation is from. 
50 Art Gifts – 50 pieces of art work
100 Monster Mash – Works involving monsters these can be traditional monsters, human monsters, monsters specific to the canon, and original monsters. You may include magic using humans as monsters if you feel it fits. Any gifts for this should be tagged as ToT: Monster Mash
100 Chocolate Box - Works involving relationships. These can be romantic or platonic, healthy, unhealthy, between any gender combination. Any gifts created for this should be tagged as ToT: Chocolate Box
50 AUs – Any type of AU works.  This can be canon divergence to a whole setting change.
5 Pumpkins – Works involving pumpkins! 
50 Holidays – Works involving holidays.  These can be for any holiday, including fictional ones.

75 F/M
75 M/M
75 F/F
20 Crossovers – Works that crossover between two or more fandoms.
10 Costumes – Works involving costumes or being in disguise
25 Family – Any work that involves family.  This includes incest.
50 Fluff
10 Cats – Works involving cats.
10 Witches – Works involving magic using humans.  They do not need to be female.
10 Night – Works set at night.
10 Autumn – Works set in Autumn
10 Celebration – Works involving parties/celebrations/festivals
25 Friendship – Works involving friendship
20 Undead – Works involving zombies, vampires, ghosts, and any other undead.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but was there ever a final rundown of how last year's turned out?

The Chocolate Box and Monster Mash were both completed successfully. I never did a count for the general challenge. Last year was really rough for me. I was hospitalized in September and my best friend was involved in a traffic collision in October that left her in a coma well into November. At the time I frankly didn't care much about the community challenge. When I'm at a point where I don't have much mod work to do I can go back and check for you.

Oh these look pretty fun! Some of them are definitely going to be tougher than others but hopefully the treaters are kind this year.

I think I might take this up as a personal challenge seeing as how at the moment I'm making up AO3 drafts for fics I'm going to post in the next few days and... almost all of them are sibling incest, oops xD

RE: 2 gifts/person -- I kept a google doc of people with 1 or 0 gifts last year. Did you have one planned, or do you mind if I do it again? It was a lot of fun to maintain, but I don't want to step on toes if you had plans already ^^

Cool! I'll start it a bit before the assignment deadline and let you know when it's up.

And if you'd be willing to send me the signups .csv (with offers and emails scrubbed) that would help me include letter links & fandoms on the sheet. My email's votevanyel at gmail :)

I try to have all of the requests added to the letter's spreadsheet by the time that assignment e-mails go out, so if you wanted to piggyback off of it for everyone's request summary/letter URLs and fandoms, I wouldn't mind (｡´∀｀)ﾉ

I'm so glad the challenge is up before requests are open - I'm now thinking about how I can put notes into my letter about ways my requests could contribute to bingos. :D
