I can see the assignment on AO3 (and it is duly noted) but I never got the email. I may be a little hasty to worry about it at this point though... It may yet come through.

If you didn't get the email double check that the one you have on file at AO3 is correct and double check your spam filter. If it is neither of those things then you will have to contact AO3 support as the assignment emails are sent automatically from them.
