Battle of the Bands - Song List

Google sheet with all of the songs in it. I have put spaces where if you want to split the tag between song title and artist you can do so. There are also spaces for links to vids or lyrics.

In the comments of the last community challenge post it was decided that we will allow music videos.

How do I signify my requests for the community challenge?

• Request a song or music video as your fandom in your signup


• Request a different fandom, say you are interested in it for Battle of the Bands, and list what songs from the list you are interested in for that fandom

How does my work get counted for the community challenge?
Tag it “ToT: Battle of the Bands”

What is the goal?
200 works inspired by music.

Beautiful Stranger by Madonna is added in twice. There are more but I put those in the previous post. I like google sheets format, because this definitely makes it easier to read and catch the doubles! Some of the songs and bands are reversed though. I know “Fall Out Boy Yhe Phoenix” needs to be reversed.

I'm glad you like the sheets. AO3 nominations were being used more like a form since all the participants would be able to use it and I knew I could just copy and paste directly into sheets and having it work properly, which wouldn't have worked if people just listed their songs in comments.

If I want to request a song as main fandom do I only request songs from the trickortreateternaltagset or can I also requests songs that are listed in the Google Sheet as main fandom?

You can do both or either. Eternal tagset if you want to make it the fandom for your request. Google sheet for if you want to apply a song to a different fandom.

Works appear under both 'Florence + The Machine' and 'Florence and The Machine', and this creates at least one double. You may wish to consider rationalising them to one name.
