Michael | The Distortion -> This one I would leave as is because there are infamously a lot of different characters all named Michael in the podcast, and also two different characters referred to as The Distortion

Ashiya Douman is preferable, since "Alter Ego" just refers to their Servant Class and not their actual names!

I tried to de-pipe "Asterios | Berserker" to just "Asterios" too, but after hitting the submit button, it put the tag as "Asterios (Asterios | Berserker)"? No idea what to do about that, sorry orz

Not the nominator, but for Fate/Stay Night: Archer (Heroic Spirit Emiya) is originally from Fate/Stay Night (Visual Novel), the first entry in the Fate series (Stay/Night is one of three possible routes - he's in all of them). He's in most other Fate series, which may be causing the confusion.

To clarify: There's multiple characters that go by Archer in the Fate series (so they're specifying Archer Heroic Spirit Emiya as that is a specific Archer character).

None of the existing subtags for books and book series fit the span I wanted, so I've combined two subtagged sets of books by one author as one fandom in my nomination. Is this okay?

If they have to be separated into the two book series, could my characters be nominated in both of them? (I have the nomination slots to spare) (never mind, that would be more confusing wouldn't it?

As far as The Wind and 2 Dollar Bills (really $2 bills), I'd say they're not really characters but props/themes/objects Baby Corn interacts with, so best put in the prompts sections, but I also have no idea if there's a fandom with codified lore.

If AMT noms aren't allowed, would it be possible to add that to the rules for next time? I thought it would be ok since I didn't see it discouraged in the rules and also saw that ones like dragon age used AMT as the preferred nomination.

Under Ultraviolet (TV), the nominated ship/characters are from the 2006 movie, not the show, which is an entirely different thing.

FSN nominator here: no, just a clumsy attempt to avoid piping. Archer is more like a title or character class in Fate lore, and they obfuscate their true names. I specifically want the Archer whose name is Heroic Spirit EMIYA, not the Archer whose true name is Gilgamesh that also appears in the story. Most people would probably assume I meant EMIYA if you just changed it to Archer/Tohsaka Rin, but it's possible they might not, and changing it to EMIYA/Tohsaka Rin creates a different ambiguity. Archer EMIYA/Tohsaka Rin would probably be best for tagset purposes?

I am NOT the FGO nominator, but the same heroic spirit (historical/legendary figure) can also be summoned in more than one class, and their personality and skillsets can change--think of them as specific character AUs. I'm not sure if the specific FGO characters listed here have multiple versions, but FGO is the Fate series gacha, so it's possible-to-likely. If you choose to resolve my nom as "Ship: Archer EMIYA/Tohsaka Rin (F/sn VN)" it would also be sensible to depipe the FGO character requests as "Alter Ego Ashiya Douman" and "Berserker Asterios" to make sure the nominator gets the specific incarnations of the character they're interested in.

Not the Dispatch nominator, but I'd say everything on the left side of the pipes (Blonde Blazer/Coupé/Golem/Inivisgal/Robert Robertson--I assume they mean Robert Robertson III, the main character of the game) would be completely sensible to anyone looking to match on the fandom. Most of the name reveals don't happen until pretty late, and "Mecha Man" is an inherited superhero identity, and he's sort of retired for much of the game, so the civilian ID is both what gets used more often AND is more specific.

Not the nominator, but I noticed that under "Brilliant Minds (TV 2024)," there is a character tag listed as "Josh Nichols' Parents (Brilliant Minds)."

These are two named characters appearing on the show (their names are Bonnie Nichols and Duke Nichols), and I wonder if they shouldn't rather be listed as such - either as separate characters, or as a relationship tag, like "Ship: Bonnie Nichols/Duke Nichols (Brilliant Minds)"
